MacGregor has been with the Oilers for 11 seasons and had been their head
scout since 2007.

Reddox has signed an undisclosed one-year contract with Vaxjo of the
Swedish Elite League. Reddox, who was set to become a restricted
free agent, scored 1-9-10 with 20 PIM in 44 games with Edmonton last year,
and added 18-15-33 with 16 PIM in 37 games with Oklahoma City of the American
Hockey League.

TO PICK FIRST OVERALL IN NHL ENTRY DRAFT

The Edmonton Oilers will
select first overall in the NHL Entry Draft for the second straight season.
The New Jersey Devils actually
won this year's draft lottery, jumping from 8th overall to 4th overall.
Their win meant the top three teams in the draft remained unchanged and
the Oilers retain their first overall ranking in the June 24 draft in Minnesota.
