deal with Springfield last summer, leads the Falcons in scoring with 19-55-74

Petry is forgoing his final year of university to turn pro with the Oilers
organization next year. He will finish this season with the Springfield
Falcons of the American Hockey League. |

Calgary this season. He will be an unrestricted free agent after
this season.
Staios has scored 0-7-7 with
59 PIM in 40 games with Edmonton this season. He is under contract
for one more season for $2.2 million.
Calgary will get to choose
whether the third round pick included in the deal is in 2010 or 2011. |

games, the 6'4" 219-pounder has scored 38-150-188 with 283 PIM.
Visnovsky had scored 10-22-32
with 16 PIM in 57 games with Edmonton.
Both players were under contract
through the 2012-2013 season. Whitney's annual salary cap hit is
$4 million, which is $1.6 million less than Visnovsky's hit of $5.6 million. |
