Jan. 29: Oilers recall centre Ryan Potulny from the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.
Jan. 27: Oilers activate left winger Zack Stortini from the NHL Injured Reserve List.  Stortini missed the Oilers last six games with a strained left knee.
Jan. 26: Oilers recall left winger Liam Reddox from the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.
Jan. 21: Oilers reassign left winger Liam Reddox and centre Gilbert Brule to the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League  Reddox scored 3-2-5 with 8 PIM in 23 games with Edmonton, while Brule had 2-1-3 with 12 PIM in 11 games.
Jan. 20: Oilers activate right winger Robert Nilsson from the NHL Injured Reserve list.  Nilsson missed five games with a concussion.
Jan. 20: Oilers place goaltender Dany Sabourin on waivers.
Jan. 19: Oilers reassign centre Ryan Potulny to the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.  Potulny scored 0-3-3 with in four games with the Oilers since being recalled on Jan. 10
Jan. 18: Oilers activate right winger Ales Hemsky from the NHL Injured Reserve list, and place right winger 
Robert Nilsson on the IRL.  Hemsky missed 10 games with a concussion.
Jan. 17:

Sabourin
Oilers acquire centre Ryan Stone, goaltender Dany Sabourin and a 2011 fourth round draft pick from the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for goaltender Mathieu Garon.

Stone, the Penguins' second round pick (32nd overall) in the 2003 NHL Entry draft, has played just eight NHL games, scoring one assist and accumulating seven penalty minutes.  In 219 career AHL games, Stone has scored 41-95-136 with 377 PIM.  He will be a restricted free agent at the end of this season.

Sabourin, a fourth round selection (108th overall) of the Calgary Flames in the 1998 NHL Entry draft, has played in 19 games with the Penguins this season, and has a record of 6-9-2 with a 2.85 GAA and a .898 save percentage.  In 57 career NHL games, he has a record of 18-25-4 with a 2.88 GAA and an .898 save percentage.  He will be an unrestricted free agent at the end of this season.

Garon had struggled in the Oilers' three goalie rotation this year, playing in just 15 games with a record of 6-8-0 with a 3.17 GAA and a .895 save percentage.

Jan. 12: Oilers recall goaltender Jeff Drouin-Deslauriers from his two week conditioning assignment with the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.  In 5 games with Springfield, Drouin-Deslauriers had a 1-4-0 record with a 2.73 GAA and a .906 save percentage.
Jan. 10: Oilers recall centre Ryan Potulny from the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.  Potulny is the Falcons leading scorer with 17-14-31 in 36 games.
Jan. 10: Oilers place left winger Zack Stortini on the NHL Injured Reserve List. Stortini suffered a strained left knee during the Jan. 9 game against San Jose.
Jan. 9: Oilers activate left winger Steve MacIntyre from the NHL Injured Reserve List.  MacIntyre missed 26 games with a fractured orbital bone.
Jan. 9: Oilers place right winger Ales Hemsky on the NHL Injured Reserve list.  Hemsky suffered a concussion in the Dec. 28 game against Nashville.

Dec. 30: Oilers recall centre Gilbert Brule from the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.
Dec. 28: Oilers reassign goaltender Jeff Drouin-Deslauriers to the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League for a two-week conditioning stint.  Drouin-Deslauriers has a 3-2-0 record with a 2.73 goals against average and a .915 save percentage in 6 games with the Oilers this season.
Dec. 15: Oilers reassign centre Rob Schremp to the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League. Schremp scored 0-3-3 with two PIM in four games with the Oilers.
Dec. 12: Oilers reassign centre Gilbert Brule to the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.
Dec. 5: Oilers recall centre Gilbert Brule from the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League and place left winger Robert Nilsson on the NHL Injured Reserve List.  Brule has scored 8-4-12 with 32 PIM in 15 games with Springfield this season.
Dec. 2: Oilers recall centre Rob Schremp from the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League. Schremp is the Falcon's leading scorer with 1-17-18 and 10 PIM in 18 games.

Nov. 27: Oilers reassign centre Tim Sestito to the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.
Nov. 23: Oilers recall centre Tim Sestito from the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.  Sestito has scored 2-1-3 with six PIM in 16 games with Springfield this season.
Nov. 21: Oilers place forward Jesse Boulerice on waivers, and he is re-claimed by the Colorado Avalanche.  Boulerice played two games for the Oilers, scored no points and had no penalty minutes.
Nov. 20: Oilers activate defenceman Ladislav Smid from the NHL Injured Reserve List.
Nov. 14: Oilers recall left winger Liam Reddox from the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League and place defenceman Ladislav Smid on the NHL Injured Reserve List.  Reddox has scored 5-4-9 with two PIM in in 12 games with Springfield this season.
Nov. 11: Oilers claim forward Jesse Boulerice off waivers from the Colorado Avalanche and place left winger 
Steve MacIntyre on the NHL Injured Reserve List.  Boulerice has scored 2-2-4 with 46 penalty minutes in 12 games with the Lake Erie Monsters of the American Hockey League this season.  He has played a total of 170 NHL games, scoring 8-2-10 with 333 penalty minutes.
Nov. 9: Oilers reactivate defenceman Denis Grebeshkov from the NHL Injured Reserve List   Grebeshkov missed three games with a concussion.
Nov. 8: Oilers re-assign defenceman Theo Peckham to the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.
Nov. 6: Oilers place defenceman Denis Grebeshkov on the NHL Injured Reserve List and recall defenceman
Theo Peckham to the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.  Grebeshkov suffered a concussion after being hit during a game in Carolina Nov. 1. 

 
OCTOBER, 2008

Oct. 24: Oilers re-assign defenceman Theo Peckham to the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.
Oct. 23: Oilers recall defenceman Theo Peckham from the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.  The move was required after defenceman Steve Staios had to leave the team and return to Edmonton for personal reasons. 

In five games with Springfield this season, Peckham has scored 2-1-3 with 18 PIM.

Oct. 11: Oilers reassign and defenceman Mathieu Roy to the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.
Oct. 10: Oilers place defenceman Mathieu Roy on waivers with the intent of re-assigning him to the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.
Oct. 9: Oilers reduce their roster to the 23 man limit with the following moves:
