Moreau also missed the first 38 games of the season with a fractured left

League, then place him on waivers. Thoresen was in Springfield on
a conditioning stint and will need to clear waivers before being re-assigned

undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his left shoulder. The injury

Horcoff will require surgery to repair a torn labrum in his
left shoulder and will miss the rest of the season. Horcoff is the
Oilers leading scorer with 21-29-50 in 52 games and was on-pace for a career

Glencross from the Columbus Blue Jackets
in exchange for defenceman Dick
Tarnstrom. Glencross, a 25-year-old
rookie, has scored 6-6-12 with 25 PIM in 36 games with the Blue Jackets
this season.
Tarnstrom,
who was signed by the Oilers as an unrestricted free agent this past summer,
had scored 1-4-4 with 40 PIM in 29 games with Edmonton this season. |
