DVORAK TO BLUES

Right winger Radek Dvorak has signed a one-year, $1 million contract with the St. Louis Blues.

Dvorak, who was plagued by injuries last season, scored 8-20-28 in 64 regular season games with the Oilers and added 0-2-2 in 16 playoff games.


OILERS REACH AFFILIATION AGREEMENTS

The Oilers have announced affiliation agreements with five American Hockey League teams one ECHL team for the 2006-2007 season.

The Oilers will share AHL teams with five different National Hockey League teams, and will farm players to Hamilton (Montreal) Iowa Stars (Dallas), Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (Pittsburgh) Grand Rapid Griffins (Detroit) and the Milwaukee Admirals (Nashville).

The team will also assign players to the Stockton Thunder of the ECHL.


MURRAY TO HELSINKI

Centre Rem Murray has signed an undisclosed contract with Helsinki of the Finnish Elite League. 

Murray, who re-joined the Oilers late last season, scored 1-1-2 in 9 regular season games, and added 0-4-4 in 24 playoff games.


TARNSTROM SIGNS WITH SWISS TEAM

Defenceman Dick Tarnstrom has signed an undisclosed one-year (plus option) contract with HC Lugano of the Swiss League.  The deal includes an out-clause should Tarnstrom be offered an NHL contract before Aug. 25.

Tarnstrom scored 1-3-4 in 22 regular season games with the Oilers.  He added 0-2-2 in 12 playoff games.
