Accoding to a Florida newspaper, the draft pick is a seventh round selection for now, and becomes a fifth round pick if the Panther's make the playoffs. Semenov had 1-1-2 with 17 PIM in 11 games with the Oilers this year. | ||||

His roster spot is still held with the Oilers, and the addition of goaltender Mike Morrison in his absence had put the team on over the 23-man roster limit. |

In four games with the Oilers this season, Conklin has a 1-1-0 record with a 4.39 goals-against average and a .836 save percentage. Morrison, meanwhile, is 1-1-0 with a 3.01 goals-against average and .895 save percentage in two games with Greenville. In an unrelated move, the Oilers also re-assign center Kyle Brodziak to the Iowa Stars of the AHL |

Schremp to a three-year entry level contract. Schremp,
the 25th overall pick in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, has been reassigned
to his junior team, but he could have re-entered the draft if not signed
by next June. Schremp's contract will pay him $600,000 the first
year, $625,000 the second and $650,000 the third.
Schremp scored one goal in six pre-season games with the Oilers this year. Last season with the London Knights of the OHL, he talled 41-49-90 in 62 games. |
