Jan. 29 Oilers reassign defenceman Mikko Luoma to the Toronto Roadrunners. 
Jan. 28
Oilers recall left-winger Jani Rita and center Mike Bishai from the Toronto Roadrunners. 

Rita has scored 13-18-31 with 16 IM in 40 games with Toronto this year, and Bashai has tallied 11-9-20 with 12 PIM in 30 games.

Jan. 28 Center Mike York is placed on the NHL Injured Reserve List after suffering a compound fracture to the index finger of his left hand.  It is belived York will require surgery to repair the fracture, and it is unknown how long he will be out of the lineup. 
Jan. 21 Oilers reassign defenceman Marc-Andre Bergeron to the Toronto Roadrunners 
Jan. 18 Oilers place center Marty Reasoner on the NHL Injured Reserved List.  Reasoner will undergo arthroscopic knee surgery to determine why his right knee is still causing him pain.  He will be out of the lineup a minimum of 7-10 days. 
Jan. 17 Oilers recall defenceman Mikko Luoma from the Toronto Roadrunners.
Jan. 5 Oilers reassign defenceman Mikko Luoma to the Toronto Roadrunners.  Luoma scored 0-1-1 in 3 games with the Oilers during his callup.

Ulanov
Oilers sign defenceman Igor Ulanov to an undisclosed one-year contract.  Ulanov had been playing on a 25 game try-out contract with the Toronto Roadrunners and scored 0-5-5 with 8 PIM in 10 AHL games.  This is Ulanov's second stint with the Oilers.
Jan. 5 Oilers recall defenceman Marc-Andre Bergeron from the Toronto Roadrunners and reassign defeceman Doug Lynch to Toronto.  Lynch was scoreless in the two games he played with the Oilers during his callup.

Oilers recall defenceman Doug Lynch from the Toronto Roadrunners.  Lynch, who has scored 5-12-17 with 35 PIM in 32 games with Toronto, gets the call with defenceman Cory Cross questionable with a bad back.

Luoma
Oilers reassign defenceman Marc-Andre Bergeron to the Toronto Roadrunners and recall defenceman Mikko Luoma. In 29 games with the Roadrunners this season, Luoma has scored 0-4-4 with 30 PIM.

Bergeron had scored 4-7-11 with 16 PIM in 27 games with the Oilers this season.

Oilers trade centre Mike Comrie to the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for defencemean Jeff Woywitka, a first-round pick in the 2004 NHL Draft and a third round selection in the 2005 draft.

Woywitka, the Flyers' first round choice (27th overall) in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, has scored 0-6-6 with 51 PIM in 29 games with the AHL's Philadelphia Phantoms this season.  He has been assigned to the Toronto Roadrunners.

Dec. 16 Oilers reassign defenceman Bobby Allen to the Toronton Roadrunners.  Allen didn't play a game for the Oilers during his callup.

Nov. 28 Oilers re-activate goaltender Tommy Salo from the NHL Injured Reserve List and assign goaltender Stephen Valiquette to the Toronto Roadrunners.  Valiquette saw action in one period against Detroit on Nov. 26, allowing 2 goals on 9 shots.
Nov. 28 Oilers activate center Adam Oates.  To make room for Oates on the team's 23-man roster, left winger Tony Salmelainen has been reassiged to the Toronto Roadrunners.  Salmelainen scored 0-1-1 in 10 games with Edmonton.

Allen
Oilers assign center Peter Sarno to the Toronto Roadrunners and recall defenceman Bobby Allen.  Allen, who has scored 2-6-9 with 9 PIM in 19 games with Toronto this season, was recalled after defenceman Eric Brewer suffered a groin strain in a game against Detroit Nov. 25.  Brewer is listed as day-to-day.
Nov. 18 Oilers sign defenceman Steve Staios to a three-year, $7.05 million contract extension.  The deal will keep the steady defenceman with the team through the 2006-07 season, and will pay a $800,000 signing bonus this year, $2 million next season and $2.125 million in each of the final two years.  Staios has scored 2-6-8 with 14 PIM in 18 games this season.

Oilers sign unrestricted free agent center Adam Oates to a one-year, $1.95 million contract.  Oates, the NHL's 15th all-time leading scorer, scored 9-36-45 in 67 games with the Anaheim Mighty Ducks last season.

Oates' faceoff skills will be a welcome addition to a team that ranks 30th overall in the faceoff circle, and his playmaking skills should bolster the Oilers powerplay, which is ranked 27th overall.

Nov. 12 Oilers place center Marty Reasoner on the NHL Injured Reserved List with a hairline fracture of his left ankle. Reasoner was injured after falling into the boards in Toronto on Nov. 8.
Nov. 10 Oilers activate center Jarret Stoll off the NHL Injured Reserve List.
Nov. 10 Oilers recall goaltender Stephen Valiquette from the the Toronto Roadrunners. The recall comes after goaltender Tommy Salo suffered a groin injury.

Sarno
Oilers place center Jarret Stoll on the NHL Injured Reserve List and recall center Peter Sarno from the Toronto Roadrunners.  The roster move became necessary after Stoll was diagnosed with tonsillitis.  Sarno has scored 1-4-5 with 21 PIM in 11 games with Toronto this year.

Oct. 31 Oilers re-activate goaltender Ty Conklin and reassign goalie Stephen Valiquette to the the Toronto Roadrunners.  Conklin missed two games with a strained groin.
Oct. 30 Oilers recall left winger Tony Salmelainen from the Toronto Roadrunners.  Salmelainen has scored 2-2-4 with 6 PIM in 9 games with Toronto this year.

Oilers recall goaltender Stephen Valiquette from the the Toronto Roadrunners.  Valiquette has appears in 4 games with Toronto this year, posting a 2 -2-0 record with a 2.26 goals-against average and a .921 save percentage.   The recall comes after goaltender Ty Conklin suffered a pulled groin.

Oct. 8 Oilers name Ethan Moreau assistant captain.
Oct. 8 Oilers reassign defenceman Mikko Luoma to the Toronto Roadrunners.  The move leaves the Oilers with 22 players on their roster, one short of the NHL limit.
Oct. 8 Oilers re-claim goaltender Stephen Valiquette off waivers from the Florida Panthers, then reassign him to the Toronto Roadrunners.
Oct. 7 Oilers reduce their roster to the 23-man limit, reassigning center Peter Sarno to the Toronto Roadrunners.  The Oilers will have 13 forwards, 8 defencemen and 2 goalies on their opening night line-up.

Rita
Oilers make another round of training camp cuts, reassigning left-wingers Jani Rita, Tony Salmelainen, Jamie Wright and defenceman Bobby Allen to the Toronto Roadrunners.  The Oilers have one more cut to make before opening night to reduce their roster to the 23-man limit.
Oct. 3 Goaltender Stephen Valiquette is claimed by the Florida Panthers in the NHL Waiver draft.  Valiquette was signed as a free agent by the Oilers in the off-season.
Oct. 2 Oilers release their list of protected and available players for the annual NHL Waiver Draft, which will be held Oct. 3.
