2.91 GAA with Oilers
Curtis Joseph signed a four-year-contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs on July 15, 1998, bringing to an end his all-too short career with the Edmonton Oilers.

 
Career Highlights

 
Never selected in the NHL draft.  Signed with the St. Louis Blues as a free agent on June 16, 1989 after one season at the University of Wisconsin.
Traded to Edmonton along with Mike Grier on August 4, 1995 in exchange for St. Louis' 1st round draft picks in 1996 and 1997 (Edmonton had acquired these picks as compensation for the Blues' signing of restricted free agent center Shayne Corson).
Signed three year contract with Oilers on January 11, 1996.
Played 177 games with Edmonton, compliling a 76-76-20 record.
Career Oilers GAA of 2.91 (team record at the time).
Had 14 shutouts with Edmonton (team record at the time).
Played parts of three seasons with Oilers before signing with Toronto.
